It's no new news that Apple is releasing the 4th generation iPhone this month after the keynote last week.  Very exciting stuff!  This is definitely a larger upgrade then the past updates and really sets a new standard for where the mobile phones are going in the future.  Here are a few of the key features and how they can possibly change application trends.

Create a Location Based Application

Last month Pepsi rolled out their new application "Pepsi Loot" in the iTunes Store.  It lets users "check-in" to local locations around them (usually restaurants that carry Pepsi products) and using the points they earn from the "check-ins' they are able to get free music downloads and prizes.  The application runs off the popular location-based/social networking application Foursquare.

There have been multiple companies that seem to have popped up in the past year that offer super cheap iPhone application programming.  Due to a slew of recent questions regarding this topic and after seeing these applications actually on an iPhone I thought it might make for a good post!

There are several options when it comes to creating or programming an iPhone application on the cheap.  Just doing a generic Google search will bring up tons of companies that will quote prices from $100 to $1,500 to create your own iPhone app.

You have your app, and now you're ready to launch it in the mobile store!  Now, all you need are a few thousand downloads and it was well worth the ride.  This is a lot easier said then done.  One of the biggest problems facing businesses and brands entering the mobile application world where they want the customer (or potential customers) to download their app - is how to market it properly.
